It's worth noting that most midi loft beds that have desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. The price of the bed doesn't include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models have an amazing pull-out trundle drawer for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or equipped with doors (please look at the product's details for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means they don't need to take up floor space by using heavy shelving or wardrobes.
Some models have gone one step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing books and toys.
